my pro 106 stop working

i have an pro106 which i got from rs of course but all of aa sudden after a few months it doent work an more. it still turns on normal but i doesnt transmit any more. can some 1 tell me whats happen

Scanners don't transmit, did it stop receiving. Maybe you turned off the scan list or don't have all the TRS data channels programmed. It would be hard to tell the problem from your post. We would need more and better information to assist you with Pro-106.

will it isnt transmiting, it comes on and everything just nothing comming out.

As hill mentioned, scanners never transmit they receive . If you hit the wx button, do you hear the local NOAA weather station? Perhaps the 'Easier to Read' manual might be the place to start (it's sometimes helpful to start at the beginning)...

As mentioned before you're not telling us much of anything here. Please be more specific with your problem, otherwise we're just fishing...it might be time to dump the contents of your scanner, zip(compress) it and attach it to your reply so others can see what you have. That is, at times,the fastest way to diagnose an issue.

i do hear the weather station when i press the button. how do i dump the contents. yes i already the data cable.

Do you have like Win500 software so you can program and grab whatever system you need for your area?

Win96 won't work for the Pro106. That software is only for the Pro-96 and 2096 scanners. As OldDeadOne mentioned, you need Win500, which is also available from Starrsoft. If you tried to set up the scanner using Win96 I can well understand why it isn't working too well. 73 Mike
