That's neat ! Been thinking of doing that myself. Is that a name brand case, Pelican, Otter or something else ?

Very cool, I made something similar from a case I purchased from Harbor Freight. I would suggest a mechanical pencil instead of a pen.

It is a home made flexible aerial for "close call" work.
