My Pelican 1030 case I sue to carry my scanner around in, note the belt clip I have mounted to the back to allow me to carry it on my belt.

Like the Seinfeld episode where the guy had to serve as a butler...? Good catch, Chris.

Seriously, though, nice case. Good for keeping it on hand for emergencies.

Cool! Now I have to find one for my bike riding adventures.

**drills small hole, adds rubber gasket for ant. **

Really Thx for sharing this! I've been looking for a solution and thought Samsonite was the only manufacture of such things. Of course my research wasn't that broad for a solution either. Mil spec stuff came to mind, but $$$.

just drill another hole for the insertion of an earpiece wire, and plug it inside on the scanner... set the scanner to your favorite frequency, and there ya have it ! a weatherproof travel case. I like the idea, and Pelican makes some nice stuff. Happy monitoring !!
