This is my front room which face the west great in winnter not so good in summer.
Two computers desktop quite old but has been updated quite a few times my late nanna sound system
lexmark inkjet scanner/printer
d-link router
DVD-R CD-RW
LG DVD RW
HD TV card
fasst aussie broadband
wireless keyboard/mouse
fax modem
Scanner Uniden UBCT8 connnected to ID Tracker

Uniden UBC996T
was used for scanning the police dam ENC
now used for trunking 800mhz

Also have a Uniden 396 and a UBC61XLT I would like to use for pager decoading

Also uniden marine 27Mhz and a hand held 27mhz GME GX292

and a yaesu used for PMR Freqs

My new Laptop HP Pavilion Running Vista all the things you expet from a laptop wireless, dvd-rw, widescreen 2.2 duo processer bluetooth etc

Bluetooth mouse, USB Xkaiser baas HD duel TV

I might post antenna pics later. Let me know what you think.

here is more info on aussie 27mhz marine radio *taken from NSW MARTIME website* (state govt dept)
boaties also use VHF(for offshore, you need a radio licence) and HF

*27 MHz is the main frequency used by recreational boaters and the volunteer services because of its low cost (approximately $200) and its suitability for use in enclosed waters where the majority of recreational boaters operate. This radio provides a range of 10 -15 nautical miles which is usually limited to line of sight.

27 MHz radios allow ship to ship communication between other users of this frequency and ship to shore communication with the volunteer services. 27MHz radios are capable of transmitting distress alerts, receiving weather forecasts and marine safety information provided that the vessel is operating within the coverage area and times of the volunteer services.*
