Yes I got confused there as I haven't been following This Thread that closely. I too had the exact same problems in June. And this is for you or the o p or anyone else.
I ended up putting a system hold time to the maximum of 255 seconds on the system which I programmed by itself on a favorites list. It worked but I couldn't scan anything else.
The firmware updates including invert filter completely solved my problem of clipped Transmissions, missed conversations and scanning right through active traffic. It was a miracle.
I have one of those difficult simulcast systems that only has one site called... Simulcast but it has 26 Towers all close to each other so it is an LSM nightmare. I left Global setting on normal but went in on the simulcast site itself and changed to invert.
As I say it was a friggin miracle and now the radio keeps right up with my apx 7000. Anyway, to anyone having a problem that's similar just stay with it.
