I do most of my listening in the truck, but when I'm home I do like to have some radios on.

This is what's sitting on my messy desk at home.

Motorola Astro Saber
Radio Shack PRO-97
EFJ 5100
Thales/Racal 25

Sounds like you enjoy that very high big black johnson :)

More into pink if you catch my drift but you got a cool setup nonetheless.

Almost looks like a ankle bracelet in the lower left hand corner.

I don't see no Big Black Johnson, just a couple scrawney ones!

Thanks all. To answer some questions, it's not an ankle bracelet... just my watch.
And anyone who's taken A&P knows just how handy those flashcards can be.

And Pete, the Impress 6 radio gang charger is in the garage. I don't have a single impress charger for my desk.

As far as "what do I listen to with all those radios?"

Well, a little of this and that.

The Astro Saber is for stuff that it can hear. :)
The Pro-97 is for the Seattle TRS.
The Thales is mostly what I use for VHF stuff. Search and Rescue, AMR, Washington State Patrol and HEAR.
The Johnson will be for sale soon. It's my backup SAR radio when I'm on a callout but I think I like the Thales better.

The Thales 25 is a Project 25 public safety radio, designed for first responders, wildland firefighters, LE Officers, government agencies and the like.

While Thales does make Aviation Radios, this radio is a mixture of Digital and Analog and specifically designed for the rigors of Public Safety.
