Until the recent purchase of the pro-2037, the only radios I had were portables.
I purchased the 2037 for $40 not bad huh? I really like having a base scanner, the audio is amazing on this thing..
The pro-46 was my first scanner from my grandmother back in 1992. Best christmas ever!
pro-96 I bought last year while living in Ct., it was the only way to monitor the csp.
pro-84 I had heard it was being discontinued so I ended up finding one at a Boomer Mcloud stereo store for fifty bucks. A little more then I wanted to spend.
And then the pro-106, I bought last thursday with the coupon. Still haven't played with much though...

Nothing against portables! I have two portable scanners and two portable radios for the fire department.
