My kind of shack in deed. Nice! Love all those model III mcs2000's. I have quite a collection of those myself. Great radios!

Awesome!

What do you use the FM transmitter for? are you able to host LBFM stations there in CA then here in US?

Question on your MD-100.... I have that same desk mic but mine is stock, what did you use for the foam pop filter on it, standard mic replacement foam sock or?? Looks great!

question on the speakers, I'm seeing the four corner mount that you have them mounted with, does Moto make that or are those home brew?

Shack Pics...

Thanks for all the great response's and to answer a few of the posted question's...Here goes...

The ht's are for our local 800 & 900 trunking systems here in the Toronto area as well as uhf repeaters on the ham bands including the p-25 and soon to come trbo system (I hope).

The fm transmitter is just for playing around with on the fm band, mainly to broadcast throughout the house and a few neighbors on either side.

The MD-100 mic pop filter is just one I took off my Heil mic and got lucky that it fits.

The Motorola speaker mounts are sold everywhere they sell car audio, they are used to hold the mesh screen that you put over the sub woofer speakers.

As far as "Not a single stray wire to be seen" ...lol...You would not want to look behind the console, but they have to be somewhere, as long as I can't see them, they don't exist.

Cheers
