You know, I don't remember.....but my guess is Staples. That seems to be the last place I bought things like that.

Warthog1:

Very nice set-up!!! I reall love the neat & organized look. The desk you have works well with the number of radios you have in the shack. Any chance you can provide us with a run-down on your antenna situation, along with a few pics :)

Antennas

poor pics but there is a R/S discone, Milair discone, re-packaged Austin Ferret, and ANtenna Warehouse Log. HF is an inverted V. I use two active Stridsberg MCA-204 multi couplers.
Not the best...but it works. Highly recommend the Stridsbergs.

Warthog1,

Great job on the shack, everything in reach. Now please tie up the cables on your mast;).

Your directional looks like its in the tree.

OK....Ok ya got me.
Antennas are getting re-cabled in a week or so anyway.
The log is actually about 30 feet from the trees.

Don,

I've been waiting to see that shack for YEARS! Impressive, bro! See if you can get Brad W. to post his here, too. NICE set up by the way, I am so jealous that you are so orderly.

Very, very nice setup!

The Drake R8 looks great as the center piece.

Everything neatly arranged and at easy reach.

A great shack for sure!

Nice antenna's too!

Regards, Commscanaus.

This might be a dumb question but why do you need that many scanners plus of the same kind?

That's very nice and clean looking.
May I ask what radio's are on the left side?

Sorry if the question(s) seems elementary but I'm relatively new to this, I was involved a bit in the 70's but things have changed. My last Bearcat I don't even think was made by Uniden. Yep, that long ago.
Thanks,
Steve

Great setup. It's neat and functional. I have a question about your antennas. How did you construct the horizontal piece on your mast? I like the idea of being able to increase the number of antennas on a single mast.

Thanks and 73.

Nice shack and great collection of radios, I also use one of the Antenna Warehouse Log for about 12 years now seems to do the best with UHF here and I second the Stridsberg's have 2 myself..
