Here is my starter shack right now I have a BCD396T,Motorola Saber UHF & a Motorola Minitor III UHF With Sky Band Base Antenna. I will be adding 2 BCT15's and a 800 MHz Yagi Base Antenna to try to pull the weaker signals i get from the south towns.Any Question's Comments or suggestions let me know.

No have not had anyone ask me and the wife said if they do we are going to tell them its a new digital TV antenna the same with mangement if people can have dish I can have a discone:lol:

I agree with you, but the FCC has no protections for your Discone.

What program is that you're using for the computer controlled software that shows the 396T as an actual radio? That looks cool.

The program is down loaded from uniden site BCD396T_UASD_v1.4.1.1.exe it is a free download I also use arc396pro you can find the download under all 396 downloads on undiens site

Heh...I think I've just heightened the geekiness level. Thanks for the tip. LOL

I think I'll stick with the ARC396 for programming, but I think the virtual control on this is pretty cool.

Great Start!

Just curious, do you monitor any services in the VHF low band, 30-50 MHZ? The reason I ask is because I dont see a center whip which mainly serves that band...Otherwise nice job so far. I have twin BCT15s myself, you will love them...
