The 94 still has some life in it. Depending in your area it could be a backup. Plus it is also an incentive - you look at your desk, and you say, DAMN I need more scanners!
By the way, I like the antenna install, very "different"..
How does the RS Sputnik work mounted upside-down? Have you thought of mounting it right-side up on a short mast, in the clear, since you already have the coax leading outside?
Well thanks for the replies, I have been a scanner buuf for a long time and am so glad to own a digital scanner. I will always keep my Pro~94 around it's been a great radio. I mainly went digital cause I am military and thats the way around here. As far as the antenna goes I was just wanting to get it put up temp. and since I live on a military base I wanted to kinda stay low till I get a better set up.
I am not sure of the rules here on antennas but would like to keep it low profile. I don't have any atttic access any ideas on a "low Profile" mount for this thing? It does make a world of difference when hooked up even upside down.
