my take on the BCD996T

I got this radio off of Ebay. it's 7 months old but you cant tell by looking at it,
the command style on it is a bit odd and takes some getting used to but it's Duh proof I think
I put in the trunked systems I wanted to read on it and it's made simple and actually worked the first time around. all in all a handy and easy to use scanner. worth every penny. I have not tried GPS with it or anyhthing but maybe someone here has and wants to tell me their experience on it.. I'm sorry if i posted this in the wrong area

Best positive feedback I've read on the 996. I feel the same way and am so glad Uniden came up with it. The available software makes it even easyer to program. You should try the Uniden UASD program, it's free to download. Hope you get enjoyment out of yours for a long time to come.
