Very nice.

I have recently gotten the bug and am up to 4 scanners/radios myself.. Still unsure how people are using so many at one time?? I am still trying to figure out how to manage 3. LOL

Now I don't feel so bad about considering a fourth radio. Or maybe I should just fill up the gas tank first whenever I feel like I have any extra "scanner money".

What a great setup. It's like you're right at the heart of all the action! Now, a few questions. What is an AirNav RadarBox and how do you hook it up? What is a Trisquare TSX300 (x3) ?

How old is your XTi? Some of the earlier units were known to underexpose. Looking at your EXIF data (your camera settings used for the shots), it seems like the shots should have come out a lot brighter, especially considering it shows that you used the flash.

Camera Make: Canon
Camera Model: Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XTi
Image Date: 2008:05:22 18:19:18
Flash Used: Yes (Auto)
Focal Length: 18.0mm
CCD Width: 22.28mm
Exposure Time: 0.017 s (1/60)
Aperture: f/4.0
ISO equiv: 400
White Balance: Auto
Metering Mode: Matrix
Exposure: Portrait Mode

Oh yeah, and lemme hit the lights for ya. :)

It's almost an absolute necessity in an urban Metroplex like we live in, where trunk systems prevail. Trunkers scan SO slowly, and encourage so much more traffic than conventional systems, that you simply have to break it up into multiple radios in order to keep up. Hell, I listen to fire almost exclusively, with very little police listening, and it still takes at least four scanners to manage it. Six would actually be more comfortable, and that will happen soon. That's not including the two or three conventional scanners needed to catch the podunk stuff.

very nice setup. Love the air-nav setup. Was thinking of getting the myself. Now, I might just have to consider it even more. Very nice.

AirNav RadarBox is a device that hooks up to your computer via USB and it enables you to view aircrafts flight number, aircraft type, altitude, heading, speed if they're equipped with ADS-B. Heres a link to the product website with more information http://www.airnavsystems.com/RadarBox/

Trisquare TSX300 is a radio similar to FRS but trasmits a digital Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum signal in the 900MHz range. The TSX300 model has 10 Billion channels and able to send text message to other radios. I put the (x3) because I have 3 of them. Heres a link to the product website http://www.trisquare.us/tsx300.htm

I bought it about a year and a half ago. I used a external flash and had the flash tilted up so the flash wouldn't reflect off the equipment so much.

Thanks for brighting up my pics!

Been pleased with it so far. I'm thinking about getting an external antenna for it because with the antenna it comes with the farthest I can pick up planes is about 130 Nautical Miles

Much better to just get it right in camera if you can... I spend way too much time in Photoshop.. Just got back from shooting a dang wedding at the Texas Motor Speedway Marriott and gotta go through about 800 images right now. UGH.
