can someone help me in plain simple text how to program the freqs for sat contacts or space station contacts i have read the book several times but just don't get it

Use the split frequency setup to do this. Your goal is to program in the receive frequency with proper pl if there is one. Then you want to associate a TX frequency with tone to this receive frequency, look in the manual for splits or odd splits programing.
