I am in the Horry County / Myrtle Beach area a lot. I am an amateur radio operator, so I always have my VHF/UHF radios with me. I would appreciate it if somebody would be kind enough to tell me what would be something good to listen to while I am there.

I know most of the county stuff happens on the trunk system, but is there anything good going on down on VHF and/or UHF? I have looked at the database and almost everything there says "Moved to trunked system". I can't find anything about the lifeguards, amausement parks, hotels, attractions, or anything else.

Thanks for the help.

KNow anything about the lifeguards, the last time I was there, I noticed that they all carry a handheld radio with them.
