mystery activity on FAPERN?

I am hearing activity today on Fairfield county FAPERN 460.1625. It sounds like PD dispatch but I can't tell the location. Sounds like it may be Bport or Fairfield. I can only hear the dispatch not the mobile. The dispatch is keying the repeater loud and clear. Is this a full duplex communication and who would it be? Right now (Wed morn) they are looking for a driver all over the road. I just heard "Headquarters to 4 alpha" if that helps.

Probably Norwalk. They use designations like "4-alpha".

You may be right there, I heard them mention the Silver Star diner which I think is in Norwalk if I remember correctly. Why would they be using this freq?

Norwalk just changed over to their new rebanded frequencies, so they may have been using FAPERN during the change over.
