Also are you able to determine what is said, what they're talking about? How active is the frequency? What times of day is it most active? All of these are good things to take note if you're trying to ID an unknown station. If you stay on the frequency long enough without the DPL programmed in maybe the repeater will ID itself (beep its callsign)? No need to know every letter in morse code but it does help to at least know the numbers, this way if you catch the last few characters (numbers) you can usually rule it out by callsign. Not every repeater IDs regularly (or at all) though. Hope these tips help

Good luck & 73!

I believe it's an EMS channel, a common frequency between Lackawanna and Monroe county---When I heard it---sounded like treating a patient.

My home 20 eating pizza.
I checked my Sentinel and didn’t see this one in there either so I added it to the scanner to see if I can catch anything on it down in my hole.
I never caught anything on the one you found in the Hazleton area but if you’re thinking this one may be related to Lackawanna or Monroe County I may have better luck with this one.
