Mystery PD heard on Chicago PD Freqs.

Anyone know what other
PD's i'm getting on the following freqs
assigned to Chicago PD? 460.450 and
460.275? I have Chicago PD and
another department competing for the band this evening, very strong where i'm at.

I heard Milwaukee PD on some of the 460 MHz freqs used by CPD via skip while in Chicago about a year or so ago - perhaps that's who you were hearing.....

Possibly some senior officers jerking some rookies chain. We got a little berg in the county not big enuff to even rate a gas station, Let alone a FD or PD. Seems like there ghostly officers or dispatch will try to have traffic with some newbie's. Its good for a laugh.............Hoser

The UHF band has been open the last few nights.. Milwaukee is 99% if your in the chicago area

It wouldn't surprise me if you start getting Stark County Sheriff on 460.475 soon. That is their main dispatch frequency and they get CPD in loud and clear off and on through the summer.
