My school has an electronics club and often we get boxes of old hardware, mostly circuit boards and stuff like that from the 1970’s up to about the 90’s. Today I was digging trough a box of this old hardware and found these (pictures below). I have no idea what they do or where the came from. All I know is the AMB one says Culver City on top. And based on the other labels and the form factor it seemed like radio gear that went in to some kind of repeater. If anyone has any idea what these are and what they do I’d love to know. Also if it is old Culver City radio gear I’d love to know how it ended up 3,000 miles away in MA.

I worked for a company for many years that built custom stuff for the governement. We'd build panels, circuit boards and more to do whatever needed to be done. I'm sure there's plenty of others doing the same thing. We might do something like build one control panel that would control multiple other devices (security camera switcher, intercom, lighting control, etc.).

There are some legends on here who (at least used to) frequent Batlabs who live and breathe this stuff.

Our P25 ham repeater system for both VHF and UHF also use the exact same hardware. Can't beat it with Quantars.
