Mystery scanner

Years ago, I thought I saw a Uniden mobile Scanner with a small footprint like a BC350, but it had a dot matrix display. Does that exist, or did I dream it up?

I thought it had 800 MHz and maybe a green display, but I am less sure about that. I have done a lot of Google'ing and have not identified the model, starting to think I am mis-remembering.

i got a bct-7 in a box $5 box of crap at auction
was happy to give it to somebody else
difficult to use
and that Beartracker thing ugg! blinky lights and beeps that wont stop
