Hi all,

I have been hearing VERY strong encrypted transmissions that sound like base/mobile simplex on 160.9975 in the Point Pleasant area. I have run a search of the FCC database on it and adjacents which turned up nothing.

Has anyone heard these transmissions and/or have any ideas what they might be?

It could possibly be some railroad company running on the Northeast Corridor or a local railroad or transit system that isn't on the FCC database. If it is not repeated, it is probably a local rail transit system or some company operating unlicensed.
