Curious if anyone listens to Medic West out of N Las Vegas? Are they rather active and decent audio?
A friend of mine is moving down there and while I live in Oklahoma she wants to listen at home. I told her I would ask here and see if its possible for her to listen. She will be living in Las Vegas area. It appears they are not encrypted and phase I.
Is this still the case? I dont see anyone streaming them online so thought I would ask. Thank you!

Hi, im not in NLV, I live on the east side, but reception of the SNACC is good in all of the valley. Now she can also listen to them in good old non trunked analog also, along with many other EMS and Clark Co, Fire (for rural areas).

If she wanted to use SNACC to monitor Medic West would she use the simulcast site or a site closer to where she lives?
I believe they are about to go to SNACC soon for all their comms with the analog as backup.
I am programming her SDS scanner for her and I am usually only familiar with all simulcast trunked systems vs a simulcast site & then particular/dedicated sites. Thanks again!

I use the simulcast 233, I think that would be her best bet. You can try others, but that one works good for me. Im using an old Pro 96.
