NAC Code?

i have the pro 96 and i scan NWCD Streamwood and hoffman

from what i understand streamwood doesnt hear hoffman and hoffman doesnt hear streamwood on there F-1 Dispatch talkgroup

with the new GRE radios that do nac code will i be able to set it up with streamwood and hoffman total seperate??

right now i have them in 2 banks and F-1 Dispatch is in both and i hear both

with nac code capability you can in essence force that particular agency calls to only be heard. similar to pl/dpl codes.This eliminates hearing unwanted calls from another agency.

Are you talking FD or PD?

FD most certainly do hear each other.

If they've used NAC to seperate users on a _talkgroup_, well that would be interesting. Normally you'd just create another talkgroup...

It's a trunked system, they are on different talk groups (TGs).
