Does the BCD15X have the capability to decode NAC ? I am looking into a new scanner and I am wondering if this will be able to receive the Coast Guard channels using NAC.

No. It’s an analog only scanner.

To follow up, VHF and UHF p25 national conventional p25 frequencies that are widely used now are digital. I have two in the Philadelphia area I listen to everyday.

If it makes you feel any better, they are usually encrypted at least on one side and often on both sides but can be heard in the open for maintenance on Coast Guard buoys and such.

When it comes to drug interdiction they're totally encrypted.😆
