Nagoya NA-771 and the FT-60

Hello,
Was wondering if anyone has used the the Nagoya NA-771 with a FT-60 and how did it work? Also does it sit flush to the radio after screwing it on? If not a o-ring will work for it. Thought about the diamond antenna but this looks like the same antenna, different manufacture and price is half!!
