So I'm studying for my General license and just starting to dabble with HF listening on a RTL dongle with SDR#. This evening, every few seconds I'm hearing a strong data burst that seems to be bouncing around between 10.4 and 10.8 MHz (see attach audio file). Any ideas on what this might be?
EDIT: After moving my antenna around I'm thinking this could be Intermod from a local DMR or possibly NXDN repeater. When I moved the antenna outside this signal seems to have disappeared and the overall Intermod from AM radio stations seems to have gone down a lot. Hopefully the IC-7300 I'll be getting soon will be a lot more sensitive & selective than my cheapo dongle (which does a damn good job for the price).
