Happy new year form. I had a question about this Naperville frequency. As we know for whatever reason, they're using OpenSky but there is a VHF frequency patch that I was wondering is it still in use? That frequency is 155.610. Now I do see it says Naperville Park, is that just the city or another area of police enforcement thats on a separate TG on OpenSky? And another question is do we know if Naperville plans to switch to DUCOMM? I heard some things about them switching to P25 from others. Thanks

The park police are active on that channel. They only do patrol Naperville parks as they’re their own separate entity within Naperville Park District here’s there info here . it’s not a patch as they don’t sound digital but I’m sure PD/dispatch have access to that channel. As for other patches there is starcom patches under the dupage county categories that are in use mainly by fire department. Have yet to hear anything for those police talkgroups. As for switching to Ducomm, No. They’re currently building out there own Motorola P25 system that the expected go live date is late spring into the summer.
