The easiest method would be to press Tune, enter a VHF-AIR frequency, and then use the up and down arrows to see the next frequency. They should move in 8.33 khz steps.

I entered 120.5 into tune mode. When I press the up arrow, I see 120.508333 as a frequency.

There has been much talk of moving to 8.33 khz spacing in the US; it's very common in Europe. It's going to be quite a while, I think, before it's the standard here. I'm sure this has to do with the number of private individuals that may not have a radio that is capable of supporting this spacing, not to mention the numerous airports - large and small - as well as UNICOMs and other facilities that would need to be changed. 73 Mike
