Nashua Rebanding Roll Call

Could we get reports from people who have their scanners fully operational on the rebanded Nashua system. Be specific with Make, Model, Firmware, Software, any special hints, problems you encountered, etc.

Also reports from those who still need help. Again, be specific with Make, Model, Firmware, Software, etc. and exact problems you are experencing.

Maybe we can match up those who have with those who haven't.

396 & 296

this worked for my 396 but not for my 296

I changed my nashua system to a Motorola Custom system with the new frequencies, used the band plans below.

bandplan

1- 851.0125 - 854.0 offset 0 spacing 25KHz
2- 851.025 - 854.0 offset 440 spacing 25KHZ

The 296 picks up a couple of the DPW talkgroups and it locks up on it. I doesnot pick up the fire/ems/police groups. If anyone has info for the 296 I would appreciate it.

Also, the tables you listed don't appear to be correct. This should work, per link above.

My Scanner:

Scanner: Uniden BC796D
Firmware: 3.60
Software: Uniden's included / Proscan 1.8.3 - Neither handles rebanding.
Control channel: 853.2625 mHz.

Instructions: BC796DFirmwareUpdate < UnidenMan4 < TWiki

Some postings have differing trunking tables. The ones in the above link is correct.
Entered tables manually. The old software was used for the talk-groups and frequencies.
Some growing pains, but appears working ok.

Successfully Rebanded the Following Scanners for Nashua:

1) Pro-96 & Pro-2096
v1.4 Firmware
Installed Win96 v1.59
Went to Nashua Bank in my P96 File
Selected multi-table under MOT 3600 CC
Clicked on Extended Tables Button
Selected 800 MHZ Rebanded
Saved & Uploaded the P96 File

2) Uniden BCD996T
v3.0.2 Update
Hand configured the 2 Custom Band Plans noted on the bottom of
Uniden's instructions for the v3.0.2 update

3) PSR-600
v1.6 Firmware
Installed Win500 v1.80
Went to Nashua system in my Win500 File
Selected custom under the trunking tables drop down menu
Put rebanded control channels in system frequencies tab
Clicked on trunking tables button and selected 800 MHZ rebanded
Saved & Uploaded the Win500 File

4) Pro-106
v1.6 Firmware
Installed Win500 v1.80
Went to Nashua system in my Win500 File
Selected custom under the trunking tables drop down menu
Put rebanded control channels in system frequencies tab
Clicked on trunking tables button and selected 800 MHZ rebanded
Saved & Uploaded the Win500 File

Sorry for the typo.

"mHz" is a Millihertz, or a thousandth of a hertz (sure wish we has cycles back).
"MHz" is a Megahertz, or a million hertz.

m = milli = 0.001
M = Mega, i.e., million = 1,000,000

1 mHz = 1 milliHertz = 0.001 Hz
1 MHz = 1 MegaHertz = 1,000,000 Hz

I need to get a new cable to work on my Uniden 396T.
