There's a multi-agency CBRN exercise currently underway at multiple locations in Nashville. The drill began yesterday and will conclude on the 10th. Locations include Nissan Stadium, Vanderbilt University, CSX Railyard, Cleeces Ferry boat ramp, and Bridgestone Arena.

Nearly all metro public safety communications are encrypted, but it would be worth keeping your ears open for traffic in the clear (simplex, national guard, mutual aid talkgroups, etc.). If you are lucky enough to catch something, be sure to post any frequencies/talkgroups involved.

There is some related activity on TACN. Eight new talk groups showed up on TACN in the past week, TG IDs 49900 through 49907. Limited testing in previous week, FDMA in the clear, and today logged more mostly testing from ICC and some named related locations like CSX and reference to “DUT”. Mostly known TACN, TEMA, THP and national guard radio IDs on those channels.

What site are you catching this on? I usually monitor Gladeville (Site 30) due to my location.
