Anyone know if there is a Nassau Tac-2 freq?

I know there is a Nassau M/A Tac-1, but some guys were talking about a Tac-2, but I've never heard of it.

In addition to the Tac 1 listed in the conventional section,

460.350 WQSD757M136.5 PLNC M/A Tac 1Nassau County Mutual Aid Tac 1FMNFire-Tac

there are 4 Tac tg's on the trunked system.

504513b5DFD TAC-1FD TAC-1Fire-Tac
504613b6DFD TAC-2FD TAC-2Fire-Tac
504713b7DFD TAC-3FD TAC-3Fire-Tac
505813c2DFD TAC-4FD TAC-4Fire-Tac

Could those be them?

Thanks, that's prob it.

Last year, there was a multi-county response to Westbury, Nassau County for flooding/rescues. There were operating on "TAC-2" and handing out radios because most depts didn't have that channel.

I have no clue why they didn't use U-Tac. That's exactly what it's intended for.

most likely if the dept is using the county tac-1 as there primary fire ground then they are referring to there own depts old fire ground as tac-2 some have label it as that in there radios Tac-2

There is no NC M/A TAC-2 channel. On the P25 talkgroup systems, there is something called FD TAC-2. However, if you're referring to a department's own tac 2 channel, it is probably what's labeled fireground on the RR database. For example, when I scanned Long Beach, the chief said "All units switch to tac 2". What he was referring to was Long Beach FG (labeled as such in the RR database).
To sum up, tac 2 is generally that department's fireground channel.

It was a channel they used last year for the mutual aids coming in to Westbury and surrounding areas for severe flooding.
