NASWA reviews the Eton E1XM Semi portable

If you went to the RadioIntel site, you'll have noticed that the North American SW Association has a new website, courtesy of Ralph Brandi. Along with that new website are selected reprints - and one or two new reviews - done by Al Johnson N4LUS. The January edition of the Journal evidently had some length problems, so Ralph has posted Al's review of the new Eton E1XM Semi Portable on the website (Why do I call it a semi portable?? You'll have to read the review to find out....). The link is here Anyone considering buying this radio should consider this review a must read. Very well done, and not at all like a review you would find in, say Pop Comm.

Yeah, Ralph really put some time into it. It still has a few bugs to shake out here and there, but it's much better than the old ANARC based site, which I assume will fade into limbo, now that ANARC has disbanded. 73s Mike
