I was wondering about some of the Channel Labels
I belive that the following are correct:

7LAWXX = Police, S.O., Etc. (Repeater)
7LAWXXD = Police, S.O., Etc. (Simplex)
7FIREXX = Fire, Fire Rescue, Etc. (Repeater)
7FIREXXD = Fire, Fire Rescue, Etc. (Simplex)
7MEXX = Medical Emergency(?) (Repeater)
7MEXXD = Medical Emergency(?) (Simplex)
7TACXX = Tactical (Repeater)
7TACXXD = Tactical (Simplex)
7DATA = Data(?) (Repeater)
7DATAXX = Data(?) (Simplex)
7MOXX = ???? (Repeater)
7MOXXD = ???? (Simplex)
7GTACXX = ???? (Repeater)
7GTACXXD = ???? (Simplex)

Where the question marks are @ I am either guessing, ?, or am not sure @ all, ????,.

Also are these P-25 digital instead of Analog?
They also use NACs instead of PLs, CTCSSs, &/or DCSs, right?

As an after thought, how did the letter "D" come to mean Simplex?
Why not use the letter "S"?

The 7MEXX and 7MEXXD should be 7MEDXX and 7MEDXXD (MEDical), the 7DATA AND 7DATAXX should be 7DATAXX AND 7DATAXXD, and THE 7MOXX and 7MOXXD should be 7MOBXX and 7MOBXXD (MOBile Repeaters). The GTAC channels are for other public service users and the TAC channels are for general public safety use.

So you mean to tell me that the Public Service / Public Works people as in Snow Plow operators, road crews, etc. get their own Interop frequencies now? This will be interesting.

Thanks for clarifying those lables. I apperciate it.

Public Works agencies have a very legitimate purpose to have interop frequencies. They are a very valuable resource in many situations. And those frequencies would be used for public works people from multiple jurisdictions to talk to each other.
