During the ice storm response here in eastern New York, I have discovered three National Grid repeaters that I cannot find in the FCC database.

153.455/241.8
153.470/123.0
153.725/241.8

I do have one of them listed on my website as "Saratoga" but I am hearing "Saratoga Storm" on 153.650/192.8.

Dave, what area is Saratoga Storm used in? I hear the people out in the field call Saratoga Storm when there quite a ways away from Saratoga

Dave,

153.455 and 153.725 (241.8) sound like Central Vermont Public Service operations channels, with repeaters throughout the state. The last time I listened, units called in to 'Scheduling', which I think is the desk in Rutland.

153.470 (123.0) I have as National Grid in Cobleskill.

Interesting. There were a lot of conversations about getting meals for the Rochester crews. RG&E deployed several trucks to the Albany area (I even saw a few of them). Maybe they meant Rochester, NH, crews.

Someone else has mentioned Cobleskill in an email, so I'll take that as confirmed. Thanks!

There is a Town of Rochester in South Central Vermont, somewhere along the Green Mountains between Rutland and White River Junction. I don't know if they got blasted by the ice storm though.

After a little more monitoring, they were talking to "Scheduling" constantly, so I'll take your Vermont ID as the final word on those.
