All,

I heard over the radio mention of the National Guard helping during the major winter weather we are having in VA/MD. Does anyone know these frequencies?

EDIT:

Looks like I might have answered my own question:
http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?aid=520

Though, I don't hear anything....

i have been hearing units id'ing as guard 8 and guard 12 on the culpeper/fauquier Virginia TRS all day long doing odd jobs for the police and fire departments ... I'm assuming it is the national guard

culpeper/fauquier counties got their butts handed to them today by mother nature, not cool

im sure the residents appreciate their help, plus the civilians lending their 4x4 vehicles ... oh, and the red cross has set up a shelter in Culpeper

be safe if you live in the area

In Baltimore City and Baltimore County, as well as most surrounding metro counties, the National Guard Vehicles are staffed with first responders from the local departments (mainly paramedics and law enforcement officers) and have 800mhz portable radios. In Baltimore City, we've been using 6 HUMVEEs and 6 five-ton trucks. The HUMVEEs are used for patient movement from un-plowed side streets to main route, and the 5-ton trucks are carrying supply hose and ground ladders to fires on un-plowed streets.

The MD National Guard Frequencies have changed and the new ones wont be posted as they are deemed classified by the National Guard.
