How will the nationwide rebanding of 800 mhz affect the newer model digital scanners? I understand that most of the channel plans will be changing. Will this put and end to being able to select a plan and have the scanner follow a trunked talk group by programming only the control channels? Will the scanners even work at all in a trunking manner?
