Navy/NavCan drills over Halifax..

Anyone hear any of the Navy? drills by the sounds of it, possibly working with the navcan? yesterday. I heard them talking to the tower at Halifax, asking for intercepts for what sounded like other aircraft ?

Sounded like fun, they were doing loops around the same area, it seemed. I also heard at least 2 passes of a heli of some sort..sounded the same, and very sea king'ish, but there was to much clowd cover to see it.

You say this was yesterday?
I don't recall any heightened military activity, what time was it at?

hmm, maybe 4-5pm or around then.

that chopper was flying rounds when I first got to burnside yesterday... that was around 10ish I think...

I wasnt listening untill later, so maybe they were out all day, might have been a bit earlier then 4, not earlier then 3 tho, I was working till then..

Antenna works great btw CBFD, was out tonight giving it a work out Even fits ok at the office underground parking, didnt even touch it at all. Thanks again!
