I live in Beaufort county and copy many MILAIR flights that say they are from 'USS Ship'. They never ID the ship. Anyway, my question is, does anyone have any freqs of Navy ships that may bee offshore. I know I cant copy the onboard trunk systems, but was wondering about HF or other. I use a PCR-1500 with at Ant Warehouse scantenna about 20 ft. high.

Thanks,
Jim

What frequency range are you in, and/or do you have a recording of it? Maybe it was traffic from one of the carriers returning home?

I was in UHF mil...I think they were talking to Washington Center on 272.750 and or Giant killer on 251.600. No recording, sorry. BTW, anyone know the frequency to radio push button assignments...push 7 is 251.600, but I cant seem to figure the others out.
