We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. I have found out from an inside source that NC A&T Campus police are giving up there present UHF freqs and joining the Guilford Metro 800mhz system, they are currently in testing and some officers have both UHF and 800mhz portables and dispatch has 1 800mhz console. I am tring to find what fleet codes they have been assigned, can anyone help?

I have talkgroup 14000 listed as A&T 1 from an old list. I have been running unitrunker on & off for the last week, but I haven't seen any new IDs. I'll let you know if any show up.

OK thanks I'll try that one, I know they have been testing on the 800 system for the last week mostly on day shift.

NC A&T police seems to be using the Guilford Metro 800mhz system full time now.TG #14000 is being used along with #2096 & #2128. I think they once switched over to VIPER on TG #22784 digital, but I can't confirm it was them.
