I didn't know if anyone had noticed, but at least one of the D10 Forestry repeaters on 151.445 now runs a PL of 77.0 instead of the old 131.8. I don't know if it's all of them or just one.

Randy,

Thanks for the info. I had not noticed this but I did hear one of the D-10 units this past week refer to the "Surry Repeater". I was unaware of a Surry site. This could be the 77.0 tone........

Wes,

Your post made me do some poking, took a little while, but I finally found out a possibility. 151.445 is registered on Fishers Peak, but is listed under a Virginia address on the license (WQLA974).

I'm going to throw some recently compiled information up here in an effort to update the NCFS listing. We already have some good info on it already, but it is dated and I'd like to make an effort of verifying what's there already and adding anything new that we might find.

D1: 151.4750 (88.5 PL)
D2: 151.3550 (88.5 PL)
D3: 151.1900 (77.0 PL)
D9: 151.1750 (88.5 PL)
D10: 151.4450 (77.0 PL)
D12: 151.3625 (94.8 PL)

All district repeaters have a common output frequency and tone, and a common input frequency with a different input PL for each site. When I get a little more time, I'll add some of the sites I've confirmed to the wiki and we can go from there. If you've got any recent verified info, post it up here.

Could this be on Turner Mtn?

Fisher Peak has several sites on the peak area and the NC/VA state line dissects the peak. The zip code for all of Fisher Peak is a VA zip code. The NC multi-radio site is one of those 2 or 3 just inside the NC border, I suspect. The NC Forest Service site is not on Turner Mtn according to the latlong listed for it.
