NC Hostage Negotiation - location?? Real vs. Training

Listening to NC State Events D3 (tg 1232). Can't tell if it is simulated or real. Some sort of hostage situation. It is not in Raleigh, but I can't tell where. If it is a simulation it is a good one. The person inside claims to have 2 Police hostages.

Hearing it in Charlotte also via Heathway. Sounds ugly at times.

If the perp has 2 police hostages, he has access to their radios. Which could explain why the perp is talking to Police on State Events D3. Strange, the perp said he wanted to stop using the radio - he could be heard in Raleigh..

Is there a live Radio Reference site where we can listen to local LEOs working this situation? Radio Traffic on State Events D1 may be related. Traffic on D1 makes it sound like it involved "inmates".

@ BCasto I don’t live in NC but I searched every NC news site and found nothing. It sounds like its training otherwise it would have been on the news at this severity level.

On another note a Perp talking on a police officer’s radio? Never heard that in my life. To me that sounds like training.

Ya in my city a long time ago, we had one going in one of big malls and I had chills all over! I thought it was real I was like OMG! Thank god they anncounced it in the paper of what was going to happen and not be alarmed. But it was like 100% real.
