Does anyone have a list of departments in Nassau County that use the countywide FG? I've heard some departments (I don't remember which) using NC M/A TAC 1 when they have their own FG listed here in the database so I was just curious. Maybe they use both sometimes but it seems a little odd

Unless things have changed, Nassau County ninth battalion FDs generally use the NC M/A TAC 1 as primary fireground frequency. The individual FD's old fireground channel became their secondary FG channel. I dont know what the other 8 battalions do.

I know someone in the 3rd batt. I don’t think he said anything about using the NC M/A TAC1 as FG. The 3BW has their own FG, Hewlett has their own and so does VS as well as meadowmere.

Man. What a mess Nassau is with FD comms. It’s all over the place.

Did you specifically ask him if he heard anything about his dept possibly starting to use m/a tac-1?
I just spoke to him. He said that they’re not going to use m/a tac 1. He said they will continue to use the FG they have always used
