Viper Statewide Events TG Chrly1 51963 being used for NC National Guard storm related operations, while DOT is on GOLF 2
Thanks for posting. Just to add a bit more detail, Golf 2 was used for various Surry County storm ops including National Guard and DOT. They were originally were on Golf 1 but were asked to move (by McDowell County, I believe).

A new TG popped up for Yadkin County (50515) which was being referred to as the “EOC Channel.”

The NC DOT, State Emergency Management, DPR, etc TGs have been active as well. Comms between NC and VA noted on Sierra 4 and between NC and SC on Sierra 2. Numerous county-level EM, EOC, Event, and the like TGs have been in use.

National Guard have been activated for storm response AGAIN, still using VIPER Statewide Charlie 1 as we prepare for 3-8 inches of snow Friday night to Sunday morning. Meanwhile NASCAR is still planning on running opening day Sunday at Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston Salem despite the Governor declaring a State of Emergency and asking everyone to stay off the roads.

NCNG continues to work on Charlie 1, DOT/IMAP and EMOC on Golf 1 was heard on Golf 3 (51981). Earlier New Hanover heard on Alpha 1 (51955). Several other Statewide Event TGs active in database on Calls Platform but not heard at my location on scanner.

Also active with storm issues is NCWRCDIST2 (52095).

By any chance does anyone understand the National Guard call signs on Charlie 1? I know Edenton and Fairfield Guard units are running around checking road conditions and assisting people as needed. Plus finding and marking abandoned vehicles left on the side of roadways they are patrolling. Thanks

DOT Division 4 operations (Wayne, Edgecombe, Wilson, and Nash Counties heard) on TG 51791. This TG is not listed in the DB, so it might be worth monitoring to try to get a channel name. TG 51792 has been active as well and was referred to as "Division 6 Common 1."

Not picking up either on Raleigh area towers, running wildcards in one scan list.
