NCMC to take over Weld County Ambulance Service

1111 AM EDT - first link works OK - 2nd link says "this story has been unpublished" - (first time I have ever seen that)
Is the info about the 2014 change accurate? I seem to recall many strange stories about how hospitals cannot afford to run ambulances, and many other strange stories about how cities cannot afford to run ambulances. Its all very strange to me. IIRC Medicaid pays various rates for BLS 1, BLS 2, ALS 1, ALS 2 (meds given), and ALS Intercept services.

I think he has them reversed. The first links says 'unpublished' whatever that means. Fortunately I read it last night before that happened.

Did google maps fail me or are these two brand new ER's only 10 blocks apart?
Do you think NCMC's Med-Evac will put a Helicopter on one new pad, and PVHS's Air Link add another helicopter on the pad 10 blocks away?
Here's an idea: Maybe they could share the cost of building a new hanger facility and park both helicopters in the open field about 16th Street? That way they're less likely to crash in to each other lifting off taking the really sick to the real hospitals?

Any updates on what they are doing for radio - staying on 1913? Did it take place as scheduled on May 7?
