NCSHP Caldwell County

I am using PSRedit 500 and ARC500 programming free edition on both software programs. I was wanting to know if someone would be willing to program the NC State Highway Patrol and post the file on here. I am already receiving the VA State Police on their STARS radio system. I am just trying to expand. I am near I77 in Charlotte from the VA State line.

It should not be difficult at all if you are already familiar with the software.

draf - I programmed the frequencies that you posted for SHP & they seem to be working great ! - I set it up as WildCard so I'm getting some county traffic which is no problem at all -- many thanks

Very cool setuphelper.

Just remember if you ever want to fine tune it down to just SHP all you have to do is put in only the TGIDs for F Troop and disable the wildcard.

I have programmed all sites and talk groups for NCSHP and even created a wildcard and a Private wildcard and I'm not receiving NCHSP. I live in Tazewell County VA and I am approximately 3 hours from Marion NC. Is there something else I need to do as far as Custom T Tables etc. I have the latest firmware updates as well for my RS Pro 197. I can receive VA STARS radio system just fine for Divisions 4 and 6 which are Wytheville and Salem VA. I'm using both ARC 500 and PSR Edit 500 software. Any helpwould be appreciated.

Can you confirm your exact location? If it's in Tazewell as mentioned in the above quote then I'd say your physically to far away to hear even most northern NC VIPER site along I-77.

Yes, I misunderstood the question. If you are in Tazewell County then you are certainly too far away to receive Viper. I thought you were looking for a file to use while traveling between home and Mecklenburg county.
