Anybody know what Signal 28 and 10-35 are in SHP usage?

Have recently heard these, but they don't show up on any published lists.

Never can put them in context with other radio traffic to venture a guess.

Good question! I don't have either of these in my lists either! :)
Time to call up my Troop C Contact and try to get these answered for us!
Will keep yall updated!

I have heard Signal 28 several times the last couple of weeks. 10-35 only once.

Hope you can find something out Marshall.

Has been a good resource. But no listing for 10-35 or signal 28 under the NCHP.

I know in Wilmington; 10-35 is traffic stop and normally a 10-28 is a records check. Could be some type of use of that?

What type of traffic does it sound like it is...

Signal 28 could be some kind of license or registration status.

No clues when 10-35 was used.

I saw on another 10-code list, 10-35 is major crime...?
This was a traffic stop.

SHP is probably using a modified version of standard 10 codes.

Thought Signal 26 was that.

Hey Marshall,

See if you can get a complete list of codes and signals from your Troop C contact to post here.

Since the take over of the old DMV Enforcement, SHP has gradually changed or implemented new ten codes & signals. While I don't know the majority of them, I have been able to pick up some. For instance, 10-91 refers to a motor carrier unit checking out on a vehicle weigh or inspection. Maybe Marshall will pull through for us!

Out of curiousity, how high does the 10-XX sequence go in the list you have?

How about scanning and posting a copy, or mailing a copy to one of us who can.

That go cart/ mini bike code must be different around here because they say 10-85/10-42 and 10-42 is ending duty.

It's not 10-87 (ending approved travel) maybe?

10-35 traffic stop, signal 28 license or registration status.
