Does anyone have an idea what the National Communications Site Services (NCSS) is? I've often come across what sounds like a control channel on 451.850 in Hamilton. I finally got around to doing a TAFL search on that frequency and it comes up as licensed to NCSS. The station is located at 30 Summit St. in Hamilton which is, I believe, a tower site at the top of an apartment building along Concession St. near Upper Wentworth on Hamilton Mountain. There is also a rx frequency associated with it, 456.8625.

A name search for NCSS comes up with a few more frequencies in Hamilton and one or two in Fonthill. I'll have to listen to them for a while to see if there's any traffic...but is anyone familiar with this company/organization?

That company has a company code prefix of 09, indicating it is a radio communications carrier. They are operating trunked radio systems, and providing leased communications services to various users. These users could include any type of business from tow trucks to construction companies.

I would expect to hear a wide assortment of users on their systems.
