I am looking to identify a small piece of equipment that came with an old crystal scanner. On the front panel it has an "On/Off switch on the right and "Tune" rotating knob on the left. It's front, back and bottom are beige and the case (both sides and top) are black. It has "DNE" (N is larger than both D and N) within a oval, in black, painted on the front. The back has a 9-volt battery clip, an external speaker jack, another external power jack marked "9-12 VDC" and a cord coming from back with "AUDIO" painted on case.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: You are the winner.....and THANKS!

Based on your response, I did some hunting and confirmed that it is a Don Noble Electronics DNE-12 Single Inversion Descrambler. There are no other markings inside or outside of case but photos confirm
