NE. State Patrol gets motorcycles

Sad news yesterday the NSP decided not to get the motorcycles , they said gas prices are coming down in Nebraska so their will be no use for the motorcycles. Gas prices in Norfolk NE runs abut $1.98 which good news since the price of gas was $2.05

It's ironic that Nebraska decides to forgo the motorcycles, but the Alaska State (Police) Troopers decided to go in the opposite direction. They are receiving two Harley-Davidson; FLPHI Road King, motorcycles as part of a pilot program for traffic enforcement. If the program proves successful, the AST will purchase additional units for deployment around the state.
