i read in the paper that NSP is switching to an 800MHZ this spring but they didn't mention a Trunk System. Does any one know what the frequency will be for troop "B" Norfolk.

Sorry that I can't provide the answer to your question. However, The
NE state Patrol is an agency that I monitor too. I live in S. Sioux City.
As you may know , the tri-state area (Sioux City and Woodbury Co. PDs)
are switching to a digital trunking? system. This system is being implimented by[Geocomm Inc.] Thankfully, it will be APCO 25 compliant
and should be monitorable by my Pro-96. Go to their website and check out their project lists. Also I checked out [cityfreq] website and discovered that 14 frequencies for Woodbury Co. and Sioux City are now listed as belonging to Geocomm. It seems that Omaha and Washinton and Douglas Co.s will be installing P25 Digital trunking systems by Geocomm also. hope to be able to share more info with you in the future.
